The August issue of “Plástico Industrial” is online. Check it out on page 18 the article “Study on the dust generated in the mechanical recycling of fiber-reinforced plastics”, a project that will assess how toxic are the fibers from the grinding of reinforced plastic parts, defining which technology is most suitable to prevent or reduce the release of these fragments. See on page 26 the article “The transition from PIR to PCR recycling projects in the plastics transformation industry”, a study that applies project theory to the transition of the recycling business model from post-industrial waste (PIR) to what starts from post-consumer waste (PCR). Furthermore, on page 38, the article “Use of 3D printed inserts provides advantages in injection molding”, showing that Inserts manufactured by additive manufacturing can be used in the manufacture of molds intended for small batches, in an economical way. This issue also brings the new “Rheometers and Viscometers” and the update “PCR resins”, “Electric injection molding machines” and “Magnetic grids” buyers’ guides.
