The March issue of “Plástico Industrial” is online. The edition highlights the article “Interplast marks the return of face-to-face events to the plastics sector”, on page 22, about the fair that takes place at beginning of April, in Joinville (SC), and which will be the first in-person event in the sector after a long period of recess due to health regulations resulting from Covid-19. See on page 36 the article “Study center integrates intelligent manufacturing resources for the plastics industry’, showing the resources of the “Internet of Production” core of Technical University of Aachen, where intelligent manufacturing systems are developed especially for plastics industry. Read on page 60, in the special chapter “O Plástico na Embalagem” (Plastics applications in the package industry), the news “Medicine bottle is manufactured with 20% less plastic”, based on a partnership between an English and a North American company that provided use of a new additive applied in medicine packaging, which enabled a 20% reduction in the plastic material used in the HDPE vial of the drug, with no decrease in barrier indices.
