The November issue of “Plástico Industrial” is online. The article “Plastics for tomorrow mobility: new polymers and processes for automotive industry”, on page 18, shows that digitization, electromobility and energy efficiency make up a new scenario in the automobile industry, with direct effects on the demand for plastic parts destined for it. See on page 30 the article “Tailor-made additive manufacturing for dimensionally stable parts production”, showing that additive manufacturing makes it possible to make plastic components without the use of molds, but whose dimensional accuracy is still lacking. This disadvantage is a constant object of research that is already resulting in more functional parts. Read on page 48, in the special chapter “O plástico na embalagem” (plastics application in the package industry), the article “Aseptic packaging for liquids”, about a Swedish company that is bringing to Brazil, through its representative, a range of flexible stand-up pouch packages developed for the packaging of liquid foods. This issue brings also the new “Grinding/micronizing services” and the update “Dyes, pigments and masterbatches”, “Extruders” buyers’ guides and “Blow molding companies” directory.
