The July issue of “Plástico industrial” is online. The edition highlights the research and directory for “Injection molding converters”, on page 16, a survey carried out with companies that transform thermoplastics by injection, showing that the sanitary crisis shook the market, but also encouraged companies to invest in technology. See on page 34 the article “Plastic films with structured surfaces prevent the adhesion of bacteria”, where it is shown that is possible to structure the plastic surface items using appropriate tools, which allow them to become repellent to contaminants. Read on page 40, in the special chapter “O plástico na embalagem” (plastics application in the packaging industry), the news “Milk filled in a transparent bottle made with recycled material”, about a Swiss packaging developer with a subsidiary in São Paulo (SP), which released a line of transparent bottles for fresh milk made with poly (ethylene terephthalate) (PET) containing 20% post-consumer recycled resin, recently launched in Argentina. This issue brings also the update “Quick mold changeover systems” and “Screws and barrels” buyers’ guides.
