The June/July issue of “Plástico Industrial” is online. Check the article “PVC extrusion in equipment with planetary thread”, on page 20, as direct extrusion of PVC, using extruders with planetary rollers, is a promising approach without the need to prepare a dry mix. See on page 42 the article “Auto parts using recycled content plastic”, showing that a materials supplier has developed a grade of expanded PP, made up of 25% recycled material, which is suitable for automotive safety applications. Read on page 52, in the special chapter “O plástico na embalagem” (plastics application in the packaging industry), the news “Manufacturer of injection molding machines opens packaging center”, about an Austrian manufacturer of injection molding machines with a subsidiary in Cotia (SP), which established a new packaging center in Europe to help its customers, which operate in this industrial sector, to improve the performance of their production cells and ensure higher levels of competitiveness.
