The February issue of “Plástico Industrial” is online. The article “Precise thickness control in thermoforming process”, on page 26, showing that the distribution of material in the forming a part walls is fundamental to guarantee the quality of thermoformed parts. A heating system with a differentiated temperature distribution allowed to achieve this objective, improving the characteristics of the molded parts. See on page 44 the article “Orientation of the loads influences the thermal conductivity of plastic components”, presenting a new process that employs the orientation of reinforcing loads as a tool to raise the thermal conductivity while improving some properties of injected components.
