The July issue of RTI is online. Check it out the special coverage “Connectivity solutions for AI data centers” with the articles “Connectivity for AI data centers”, on page 18, showing that, with the multiplication of connections between servers and GPUs, high-performance cabling solutions and new topologies and protocols are gaining ground in the search for low latency and scalability, and, on page 24, “High-performance connectivity solutions for AI data centers”, showing that, to meet demand, manufacturers are investing in more compact, high-performance, and easy-to-manage solutions. Read on page 40 the article “Optical fibers in data centers”, where, in addition to exploring the benefits and different types of fibers and connectors, with an analysis of operating costs, the author presents the best management and maintenance practices and the impact of new technological trends. Furthermore, on page 56, the article “2.5 and 5 Gbit/s twisted pair Ethernet networks”, presenting the latest standards for wired Ethernet networks, with emphasis on IEEE 802.3bz, which enables speeds of 2.5 and 5 Gbit/s without the need to replace the existing network infrastructure.
