The April issue of “RTI” is online. The article “FSO - Free Space Optics”, on page 24, shows that, for extending metropolitan networks, expanding access networks or connecting end users, the FSO technology - wireless optical communication offers advantages such as high transmission rates and lower investment costs. See on page 38 the article “Impacts of the new Procurement Law on the networks and telecom sector”, presenting the main points and requirements related to the technical qualification for the area of telecommunications engineering, networks and installations of companies interested in participating in competitions for public entities. Furthermore, on page 64, the article “IoMT – Internet of Medical Things”, showing how mobile technology is being applied in the health area, listing the advantages of IoMT – Internet of Medical Things for monitoring various parameters related to the well-being of patients. This issue also brings the update “Outdoor cabinets” and “Digital radios”.
