The February issue of “RTI” is online. The special coverage “Pre-connectorized networks”, on page 20, shows that quick installation is a decisive factor in offering broadband services. Pre-connectorized optical networks gain special emphasis. Assembled and tested at the factory, the plug and play solutions enable quick subscriber activation and high connection quality. See on page 34 the article “Set of Brazilian norms for structured cabling gains reinforcement”, presenting the main details of the norm 'NBR 16869-3:2022 - Structured Cabling - Part 3: Configurations and Tests of Point-to-Point Links, Links Terminated with Modular Plugs and Cabling of Direct Connection' published at the end of December 2022 by ABNT. Furthermore, on page 46, the article “Security Threats in Cloud Environments – Part II”, bringing, in the second and last part, an overview of the main security threats in cloud environments, as well as the responsibilities in the management of such platforms and best practices to be adopted. This issue also brings the update “Products/solutions for data centers – Infrastructure”, “IP links for ISPs - Internet service providers” and “Software for design, construction and operating FTTH networks” buyers’ guides.
