The January issue of “RTI” is online. The special coverage “Edge data centers: the new frontier for ISPs", on page 22, shows some edge data center cases and the precautions to be taken to enter this market. ISPs are increasingly interested in investing in data centers to provide new services and increase B2B revenue. Read on page 20 the article “Which cables are most recommended for Wi-Fi 7 connections in buildings?”, showing that Wi-Fi 7 and 5G open up new dimensions of connectivity and, for access points to be connected to local networks efficiently, the cabling behind the antennas must be able to transmit data at ultra-fast speeds. Furthermore, on page 36 the article “Monitoring non-ionizing radiation in electromedical equipment”, showing that, as the electromagnetic field environment in hospitals is becoming increasingly complex and unstable, the electromagnetic design must consider good installation and maintenance practices, ensuring that adequate EMC levels are achieved.
