Highlights
The November/December issue of “Eletricidade Moderna” is online. The edition highlights the “Products of the Year 2021”, on page 18, a survey that points out the best-selling brands of dozens of electrical and lighting installation products at electrical equipment dealers in Brazil, and also their evolution from 2020 to 2021. It is an important reference for the industry, consumers and the resale channel itself. See on page 34 the article “Advantages of variable refrigerant flow systems for buildings”, analyzing investment and aspects related to energy quality when using the variable refrigerant flow (VRF) system, already widely used in building refrigeration, which it guarantees lower electricity consumption and better thermal comfort, even though its implementation is more costly. Furthermore, on page 42, the article “Fundamentals of protection for intrinsic safety - Ex I”, showing that intrinsically safe protection solutions enable data acquisition directly in hazardous areas, reduce the volume of installations, and allow interventions for testing or maintenance with the equipment in operation.
