Highlights
The September issue of “Eletricidade Moderna” is online. The edition highlights on page 24 the special “Electricity Award 2018”, the 22nd edition of a research that records the performance and evolution of distributors in terms of energy distribution quality, as well as commercial, engineering and operational management processes. See on page 21 the article “First air compressor for zone 2 produced in Brazil”, showing that an application in the petrochemical industry has given rise to the local development of an air compressor for zone 2, Group IIA, with affordable cost and compatible delivery time. Furthermore, on page 34, the article “Energy quality and thermal behavior in the replacement of compact fluorescents by LEDs”, analyses the impact of such replacement on the distribution system, regarding energy quality. This issue brings also the new “Cable trays” and “Directional drilling & Pile drivers” buyers’ guides.
