Highlights

The May issue of FotoVolt is online. The article “Impact of commercial buildings shape on consumption and energy generation”, on page 26, reports the research that investigated the impact of changes in building shape on intensity of energy use (IUE) and intensity of energy generation (IGE) in commercial offices. See on page 38 the article “Supra-harmonic emissions in PV inverter installations”, reporting the project that performed measurements in four installations of PV systems with variable number of inverters and nominal powers from 15 kW to 275 kW, verifying unintended conducted emissions in the above range harmonic (2 to 150 kHz) and the resulting voltage distortion, in addition to other phenomena. Furthermore, on page 50, the article “The credit offer for PV plants”, which provides an overview of the main sources of credit for these plants in 2021. The centralized PV solar generation projects accounted for more than R$ 12 billion in long-term credit until 2020. This issue brings also the update “Measuring instruments for PV plants” and “String boxes” buyers’ guides.
