The March/April issue of FotoVolt is online. The special coverage “Future of distributed generation: will the new rules come from the Legislative?”, on page 18, shows that the change in the compensation system for distributed generation is the key point in the discussions of Normative Resolution 482, under review since May 2018. Decisions on the topic can define the competitiveness and the future of the solar energy production chain photovoltaic in Brazil. See on page 36 the article “Distributed mini-generation integrated into an energy efficiency project”, showing that the project presented includes the implementation of distributed mini-generation and energy efficiency measures in various club facilities. The production of photovoltaic energy to supply part of the consumption of the installations combined with the modernization and use of efficient equipment and systems reduce the consumption of electric energy and promote cost savings. Furthermore, on page 56, the article “Synergy between inverters of photovoltaic generators”, this shows that, as an alternative to photovoltaic generators operated with centralized inverters in commercial applications, a solution that uses primary and secondary inverters, of lighter construction, assembled in order to constitute a system integrated, can have advantages.
