The June issue of FotoVolt is online. The article “PV systems on roofs with combustible materials”, on page 30, shows that, with the large number of photovoltaic generators installed on roofs of homes and commercial and industrial buildings, the presence of combustible materials on these roofs raises the discussion about the risk of fire. See on page 40 the news “Green hydrogen and energy storage are highlighted at the Intersolar Summit”, showing that, in addition to the regulatory framework, financing, distributed and centralized generation, the debates addressed the challenges and opportunities for the evolution of storage and H2V, which should boost renewable generation in the Northeast. Furthermore, on page 56, the article “Energy storage for grid-connected PV generators – Part I”, describing, in this first part, the system components and the grid interface according to recent VDE standards. The second part, to be published in the next issue, will discuss protective measures. The text allows normative comparison between VDE and ABNT. This issue also brings the update “Measuring instruments for PV plants”, “String boxes” and “Structures for PV panels mounting” buyers’ guides.
