The September/October issue of “Eletricidade Moderna” is online. The special coverage “EM 50 years”, on page 24, shows that from the state and centralized model of the 1970s until the moment when the total liberalization of the energy market is being attempted, the evolution of the electric sector has been closely monitored by Eletricidade Moderna. And, in the world of electrical installations, the magazine recorded and collaborated with the development of technical standards, the safety of installations and products, the market and its professionals. See on page 42 the article “Fire detection and alarm in logistics centers”, showing that, with globalization, a fire in a logistics center may not only have local consequences, but affect an entire supply chain. In this scenario, fire safety reliability is critical.
