The edition highlights the special coverage “2018 Directory and yearbook of the Brazilian electricity industry”, on page 46, where the most important events and factors for the industry and the national electricity market between 2017 and 2018 are presented and commented on and the preview of “ENIE – Electrical Installations Conference & Eletrotec 2018 – Products & Services for Electrical Infrastructure” (São Paulo, SP, August 28th to 30th), on page 30, which will present market trends and news and a broad and comprehensive agenda, due to the multiple technical specialties of the participants. See on page 22 the article “Analysis of the risk of shock caused by electrostatic discharges”, showing that in industrial environments electrostatic discharges are significant risks and the statistics of insurance companies indicate that such discharges are a relatively frequent danger for people with an upward trend. Furthermore, on page 68, the article “Comparing international standards for energy efficiency testing”, reporting a study comparing IEC, IEEE and CSA standards not according to the content and procedures described but based on actual tests performed on 500 engines.
