The July issue of RTI is online. The special coverage “5G private networks: market and perspectives”, on page 14, shows that the scenario opens new revenue opportunities for providers and operators, going beyond the mere provision of connectivity and mainly involving the effectiveness of IoT devices – Internet of Things and the integration of the ecosystem with end-to-end solutions. See on page 38 the article “Why adopt server virtualization?”, showing that virtualization reduces hardware investment and maintenance costs, in addition to allowing faster deployment of applications and workloads, eliminating the complexity of physical servers. Furthermore, on page 48, the article “Reading and interpretation of technical standards”, showing that technical standards are documents that establish criteria, rules and guidelines for the execution of technical activities, guaranteeing the safety, quality and efficiency of the products and services offered. It is important that they are read and interpreted correctly to ensure the perfect progress of activities. This issue also brings the update “Products for FTTx” and “Media converters and optical transceivers” buyers’ guides.
