The April issue of “RTI” is online. The special coverage “Telecom Distributors – Market overview”, on page 18, shows that, despite growth at a slower pace compared to previous years, the broadband market continues to expand in Brazil. There are many business opportunities for upgrading networks, using new technologies and connectivity in rural areas, as stated by distributors of networking and telecommunications products. Read on page 30 the article “Design and tests for PoE in cabling system”, showing that, with the evolution of PoE – Power over Ethernet technology to create safe and comfortable environments for its occupants, it is necessary to observe whether connectivity (cables and connectors) will be able to power electronic devices safely, without risk of connection degradation and resistance imbalance within the pairs. Furthermore, on page 38, the article “Ten problems that can be solved by an on-premises data center”, which shows that, despite being costly, implementing its own data center can help an organization face various problems related to connectivity, security, latency and availability in comparison with outsourced cloud and colocation services, in addition to enabling greater autonomy.
