The March/April issue of FotoVolt is online. The article “Evaluation of the spatial evolution of photovoltaic DG in State of São Paulo, on page 32, presents a methodology to follow the behavior of photovoltaic distributed generation expansion, using techniques based on spatial analysis and georeferenced information. One of the objectives is to provide reliable data to support decisions related to new projects and generation systems. See on page 40 the article “A great moment for the Intersolar Summit Brasil Nordeste”, about the event that will address pressing issues amid the great turmoil of solar photovoltaic market and excellent prospects for green hydrogen in the Brazilian Northeast, among other regional attractions. More than 300 delegates and a large exhibition of products and services are planned. Furthermore, on page 60, the article “Innovative concepts of self-consumption and aggregation for prosumers”, bringing information from the 'FVProsumers4Grid' project that the European Commission created, aiming to expand the role of consumers who generate photovoltaic electricity (prosumers), to investigate business models and concepts of self-consumption and aggregation, described here together with an analysis of effect of “prosumption” on electricity costs and greenhouse gas emissions, implications for the electricity grid, and policy recommendations. This issue brings also the update “PV engineering and technical services companies: design, installation, consulting etc.” directory.
