The November/December issue of “FotoVolt” is online. The special coverage “The Brazilian Standard for Photovoltaic Installation Projects”, on page 54, listened to members of the committee that drafted NBR 16690, and highlights some of the most relevant aspects of the document. Published in early October after a long elaboration process, it is a milestone for the country's photovoltaic installations. See on page 46 article “Quality of the photovoltaic generation integrated into an old building”, over a 1970s apartment building that was gifted a facade and roof with integrated photovoltaic elements (BIPV), and has undergone a large retrofit to the international Passive House standard of efficiency. Furthermore, on page 60, the article “Mosaic module for aesthetic and economic integration to the building”, reporting the development of a module concept that offers customized design, high efficiency and low production cost. It is a cell-based mosaic module with metal-wrap-through technology, designed to be separated into smaller parts.
