Highlights

The June issue of FotoVolt is online. The report “smarter E Europe 2022 – Success in returning to normality”, on page 30, shows that the big event has returned with force to its regular format, far exceeding the expectations of the organizers. It also highlights the Brazilian participation. And the “Intersolar Summit discusses the future of PV generation”, on page 62, shows that the opportunities and challenges of the expansion of photovoltaic energy in Brazil were at the center of agenda of the Intersolar Summit Brasil Nordeste, which in addition to technological and economic development addressed the aggregation of value to the industry via green hydrogen. See on page 36 the interview “Regulation of energy storage is urgent”, where the counselor of Absolar and director of the company NewCharge, Markus Vlasits, says that it is necessary to be "agnostic" in relation to technologies and that modification of laws and regulations needs to be done already. Furthermore, on page 50, the article “Evaluating the long-term degradation of PV technologies”, a study that followed the real performance over 10 years of five technologies of PV modules in operation, to identify causes of the deterioration of this performance and determine the rate of degradation.
