The November/December issue of “FotoVolt” is online. The special coverage “Event exceeds expectations and points out paths”, on page 24, shows that event “The Smarter E South America”, held in October, bringing together “Intersolar” and two more exhibitions and congresses, presented important trends at a time when the country is facing a water crisis that calls for alternatives. Experts believe in dynamic development for next ten years, when photovoltaic sector can reach 43 GW of capacity. On page 66 has a selection of novelties presented in the three parallel exhibitions. See on page 46 the article “Floating PV power plants (part 2) – Grounding and lightning protection”, completing the overview of this technology started in the previous issue, which now discusses the issues pertaining to lightning protection and grounding. Furthermore, on page 56, the article “Impact of the end of the TUST/D discount on competitiveness of photovoltaic projects”, where Eduardo Tobias Ruiz, author of the book “Investment analysis in photovoltaic solar energy projects: centralized generation”, says that, because it is a tariff on power, the impact will be much more severe on the solar source than on other renewable sources.
