The November/December issue of “FotoVolt” is online. The article “Performance factor: project values versus actual values”, on page 22, shows the work that compared the values of one year of operation of nine systems distributed in the southern region of Brazil with the values considered in the project, with a view to guiding future projects. See on page 34 the article “Monitoring systems of solar plants”, showing that the demand for monitoring systems should grow in the next years in the solar segment due to its benefits, such as increased yield of the enterprise, more reliable and profitable operation, less time in the identification of breakdowns, greater efficiency for the field service team, among others. Furthermore, on page 60, the article “Problems of harmonic currents in a roof PV plant”, analyzing the measurements of electricity quality in the solar generator of a residence that revealed the occurrence of harmonic currents at beginning and at end of daily photovoltaic cycle, with values higher than the rated current of the PV system and well above the values allowed by the norm and the regulation of the country. It points out probable causes and possible solutions. This issue brings also the new “Electrical vehicles charging stations” and the update “Energy storage systems” buyers’ guides.
