The January/February issue of “Hydro” is online. The special coverage “In-line pumping”, on page 14, shows the advantages of the solution and the offer of companies that supply direct in-line pumping. The technology is an efficient and economical solution for sewage treatment, as it eliminates the need for a wet well in pumping stations. Read on page 28 the article “Gas filtration system for sewage pumping stations”, providing details on the implementation of a gas filtration system at the EEE Final in Tremembé, countryside in São Paulo. The solution combines coconut fiber and activates carbon, called “Odor purifying cover for suction wells for pumping stations”, and has shown significant advantages in the tests carried out. Furthermore, on page 42, the article “Standardization of deep well trestles for groundwater collection”, a work that presents the development of NTS 374, a Sabesp technical standard for deep well trestles used in groundwater collection. The methodology included the formation of a committee for studies and technical discussions, development of prototypes and bench tests.
