The July/August/September issue of Hydro is online. The special news “Sanitation landmark: universal service and opportunities for the sector”, on page 16, shows that the new Sanitation Sector Landmark should universalize the service and transform the country into a construction site, with investments of more than R$ 700 billion and the generation of 700 thousand jobs. See on page 28 the special coverage “Water desalinization and reverse osmosis”, showing that, increasingly in demand, the seawater desalination technique for public supply has originated several projects in the world. Furthermore, on page 44, the article “Harnessing rainwater in a public building” presenting the results of an economic feasibility study for a system for capturing and harnessing rainwater for non-drinking purposes to be installed in a public building. This issue brings also the update “Drives and automation for water plants” and “Water pipes & fittings” buyers’ guides.
