The special coverage on the “Feimec” and “Mecânica” trade fairs of “Máquinas e Metais” is online. This issue brings, on page 40, the preview of “Feimec 2018”, that will take place between April 24th to 28th in São Paulo. In its second edition, will bring together more than 700 brands in an area of 54,000 m² featuring machine tools, 3D printing as well as advanced manufacturing demonstrations for the diffusion of Industry 4.0 concepts. And on page 58, a summary of the 32nd edition of “Mecânica”, scheduled to take place from April 24th to 27th in São Paulo, which this year will no longer be machine-directed and will be fully focused on the demands of the industry, to provide professional updating opportunities and networking with technicians and industry experts, as well as presenting solutions in industrial automation, energy, transportation and logistics, industrial components and digital manufacturing. Furthermore, see on page 18 the article “Modal and structural evaluation of a blast turbine via the finite element method”, where, for the modal and structural evaluation proposed in this work, displacement and stress analysis were performed, as well as the natural frequencies of the carcass of a turbine of blasting. And read on page 30 the article “Induction-assisted milling for hot titanium machining”, showing that the wear of the tool in the machining of titanium alloys increases in a particularly intense process costs and hybrid manufacturing methods are options to reduce this wear, induction milling.
