Highlights
The October issue of “RTI” is online. The edition highlights the special “Futurecom 2018 - 20 Years”, on page 30, presenting the main novelties of the event to be held between October 15th and 18th at São Paulo Expo, which includes products, services and congress, discussing topics such as IoT - Internet of Things, Mobility, 5G, submarine cables, big data & analytics and blockchain. See on page 54 the article “Green Data center”, bringing the results of a survey of 33 data center infrastructure specialists into the application of environmentally sustainable engineering requirements in the following systems: structured cabling, air conditioning, renewable energy, UPS, lighting, fire protection and gensets. Furthermore, on page 98, the article Cloud networks”, which show that many companies are taking advantage of the cloud to help reduce costs while improving productivity. Cloud computing services offer immense change and workload for IT departments. This issue brings also the update “Hosting and colocation providers” directory.
